And slightly different again on mine.
There is an unpublished varietal name doing the rounds for John's plant, unguispina.Phil Crewe, BCSS 38143. Mostly S. American cacti, esp. Lobivia, Sulcorebutia and little Opuntia

And mine is different again. This is an old Pic. The plant is now about 20cm tall.

Re: Lobivia schieliana
Here are mine:
a white spined clone. This could be the same clone as Mike's by the look of it
a golden spined Ralf Hillmann clone just starting to bud
and a 2 year old var.quiabayensis with a WR number but anything this far removed from the original collection could have been crossed with who knows what over the years

Re: Lobivia schieliana
My quiabayensis is Lau 1004, probably propagated vegetatively from a habitat plant.

Re: Lobivia schieliana
I just looked at the label of my Ralf Hillmann clone. It's RH444/1 from Quiabaya so presumably quiabayensis. It flowered last year but I don't remember the flower colour, I'll pay more attention this year.
