There's a fine item about the nursery

on BR TV

from 26:00 to 29:00
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

I understand very little German, was he saying that the taste of a cactus fruit was like a Granny Smith and passionfruit? Did they call it a warzenkaktus? Which would be a Mammillaria?

I don't think I'd be as hands-on as he is.

Not many of the wonderfully grown Opuntias to be seen but very interesting.

That report is a great find! Fascinating to learn about the taste of Mammillaria fruit, but what amazes me is that he runs his fabulous nursery all by himself...
