Another out-sized bud
Pyrrhocactus villicumensis isn't huge but it isn't really a miniature either. The bud is mostly smoke and mirrors, and hairs, but it does look impressive.
The flower is a nice colour.

Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
