This Mammillaria albiflora was attached by the mouse digging for seeds in the body, then by mites while it was under the staging waiting to see if it lived or died. It lived :)

I think they are quite strong plants, i have a few seedlings with very little amount of roots (if we count them as roots 😅) , somehow they manage to survive.

Snap! Mine was nibbled to oblivion by bugs last year and looked like a couple of frosted rabbit poos at the start of the season. I was ready to chuck it but fortunately gave it a second chance
