There's no doubt at all that this is not A . haworthioides. I have seen similar plants labelled as A. humilis x A. parvula, and also as A. humilis x A. pratensis, but I have no idea which is the correct parentage of this hybrid. The cultivar name Aloe 'Surprise' seems to be randomly applied to each of the aforementioned hybrid crosses. I realise that I'm not helping a great deal, other than confirming the consensus that your plant is misnamed.

Mike, if you are serious about binning it, I am happy to give it a home. And if you are after the true A. haworthioides, I could check if my plant has got any big enough offsets I could removed.
