Brian Hill (South Wales Branch) RIP

Post by John Foster »

I've just heard the sad news that Brian Hill of South Wales Branch has died. He had been a member for almost 60 years, had various spells as Branch Chairman and was the very first Zone 9 Rep.

Sad to hear indeed. Brian was a mainstay of the South Wales Branch, in no little part due to Anne's support. If anyone from South Wales is reading this, please pass on my condolences to Anne.

A big loss to the branch. Brian helped me a lot when I started to grow cacti many years ago. He even invited me to see his collection and gifted me plants, some of these I still have. Condolences to Anne and family.

Very sad to hear this. I visited Anne and Brian for tea on several occasions on my visits to South Wales Branch over the years and enjoyed seeing their collection and Brian's hand-crafted model railway rolloing stock.
RIP Brian and sincere condolences to Anne.
