Bottom heat

Post by Eric Williams »

Just wondered if a very small amount of bottom heat would be beneficial to re rooting some cacti this time of the year. Obviously I would wait until this heat wave is over. Thank you

Personally I think bottom heat helps with rooting at any time of the year as long as it doesn't push the plant outside of its temperature comfort zone.

However I have much more experience with 'normal' plants, not succulents.
