Teesside branch back to work

Post by Ernie »

Last Wednesday I attended the first meeting of the local branch for 18 months. Good talk about Namibia. Most of the usual members were present, all of us wearing masks of course. Cannot beat the personal contact face to face. Lets hope we can continue and don't get locked away again. I was pleased to learn that we had not lost anyone during the pandemic because in one of my other interests, chess, we lost eight to the chess board in the sky.
The internet is good but seeing plants and members at the local branch is the very best by far. Forgot to say the journal is worth the money alone! Pride of place on my bookshelf.
