Lullingstone Haworthia purchasers

Post by Cactus Kid »

Haworthias bought at the fantastic Lullingstone event.

Most from Ian Armstong but also a few others.

Spent a fortune on these, Aloes, some other variegated plants and the auction.

Have a large balanced collection of both cacti and succulents but enjoy growing cristate, monstrose and generally anything a bit weird!

He did have some nice plants and I fell victim to a couple - although I did hold out until the Sunday!

Looks like we both found the best of the Haworthias. The single one is 'Ice Diamond', a Pygmaea Crystallina with an extra leaf pattern. These all came from 'Ian's Haworthias', superb plants and it was a 600 mile round trip for him so a rare chance to see his plants for sale.

Here are my 3 haworthia, I'm supposed to be reducing my haworthia collection but the plants were so nice & a reasonable price I had to buy them.

A lovely variegated Monadenium ritchie my favourite buy.

Lovely pot that was an auction lot from Paul Rogers Ceramics.
I wish these were cheaper as I would buy lots more.

Finally this adro I brought because I wanted the pot so the plant can be a raffle prize

varied collection of succulents and cacti but I especially like Euphorbia's, Ariocarpus and variegated agaves.

Glad you found the Monadenium Tina, at a bargain price too. We all seem to have found Princess Kazunomiya though I bought one at Bridgewater as well and it's the sort of plant that justifies having two of the same.

I bought one of his pots - for a bonsai not a cactus. Agree they were very good but expensive.
