I have a few seedlings from various sowings, the results are very variable but all pretty. This is the first to flower

Nice contrast. Interesting that the body colour change doesn't affect the flower at all.

Yes it is nice and unlike optica Rubra the flowers appear early enough to actually open.

It’s about 4 years from seed if I remember correctly
