Please let me know what you think. Constantly battling for space with my parents . Added small amount of lights for 10 hour days and will add a heat mat underneath to wade off the frost. Hoping that it is cold enough that they don't grow even with the lights on. Might add a bit of insulation around it.

Heating mats are a very mixed blessing as they tend to dry out, even "cook" the compost without you knowing. The pots are better stood on at least a couple of thicknesses of something like pean and bean or clematis mesh - something like this - https://www.amazon.co.uk/JB-Retail-Solu ... B071CQ5MQM, which is placed on top of the mat, or make a shallow tray, or lip to the shelves and put 10-120mm of dry sand on the mats.
