Last year my Epiphyllum plants where located in the polytunnel. No flowers.

Yes I agree with the two comments above a drop of water about every two weeks or when the top of the compost is dry, Where habitat Epiphyllum live does not really have a summer or winter its warm most of the year a quite humid so your kitchen is most likely perfect.
As for when it should flower that I would have thought would be down to the parent plants of this hybrid which I must confess I know not.
