Colour on a grey day

Post by Mike »

It's been a very grey day here today, so in case anyone is also short of sunshine, here's the colour in today's greenhouse!

The Leuchtenbergia when fully open is 4" wide., and scented too. It's the first time this plant has flowered - I bought it at a small unmanned. roadside stall in Wales about three years ago! It's now in a four inch pot.

Tending more towards cacti :D, particularly Gymnocalyciums, Rebutias, Sulcorebutias, Echinopses, Thelos, Feros and Mamms (and anything else I like the look of!) all in an 8 x 6 polycarb greenhouse and a few windowsills!

Hi Mike,
This is a spectacular show. Leuchtenbergia is the winner of the Oscar.
