Hi all
I am going to be in Cambridge tomorrow and wondered if anyone knows of any Cactus Nurseries in that area.
Thanks

Aaah, Eau Brink will have a stall at Spalding Cactus Mart on Mon 21 April.

Is this a regular cacty sales fair? Has anyone been before, what's it like? Anyone else going? I'm sure I can cadge a lift to a shopping centre with so much notice. :D

I can speak for the North West Mart and others from personal experience. It is impossible to come away empty handed unless you are blind or heartless. Great fun, good company, lots of helpful people and a thoroughly good experience. Don't miss it.

The Spalding Cactus Mart was the subject of discussion in this Forum last year and there was comment that it was disappointing. I went and the long journey was only justified because Southfield (Brian Goodey) is local and the two can be combined.

Thanks, Peter and Peter. I'll see who else is going when it gets nearer the time.

(this reminds me of my mother's friend's three sons who were about the same age as me when we were little, and each were given a white gerbil. The littlest boy wanted to call his gerbil Peter, so they all agreed between them that the other two had to call theirs Peter as well, so that the identical gerbils would all be called the right name. So when they went on holiday we had three Peters to caretake, which was the source of some amusement.)
