Man, that's stupendous! If that's what you do when bored, then I hope you're often bored!
I was reading these posts to learn about cacti, and who knows, maybe eventually contribute something. Now I'm also knocked out by the pics. Thanks--

Thanks Ian, Christer and Scott. Christer, I use a Canon 20D with an MP-E 65 macro lens, lighting for this was from a single diffused Canon 580ex speedlight. Its a full frame image, not cropped, exposure was F11 @ 1/250 with ISO set to 100.
These were the guys I had been chasing before I turned the lens on the succulents .......

Awww. I just adore springtails, they are very cute when you see them close up and I love this one's hairy 'bum'. All these close up pics make me feel bad for not getting my microscope and camera out much these days.

 incredible photos, who would think there are so few cells on the tip of a leaf. I guess the white ones are transparent, and let the light through to the inside of the leaf?

Mr. Hairy Bot is beautiful - how long is he, Adrian?

I wonder why he is so hairy at the back. To sense air movement behind him?
