It is eleven years since Liz M showed us some super pictures from the Abbey Gardens on Tresco.
Jenny and I finally got round to spending a few days on the Isles of Scilly this month.
Here is a miscellany of plants spotted in people's front gardens, at the Abbey Gardens and 'in the wild' on St Marys, St Agnes and Tresco:
More to follow ...

and a final few....
Finally, by coincidence,we spotted a rare and unique cultivar
Homo sapiens 'David Kirkbright' on two separate islands on two different days - how scary is that?!

I have never been but I will add to my list of places I would like to visit. Great photos.

I first visited there about 20 years ago and was determined to return. We had planned to visit last year but bad weather and low visibility meant that all flights to the islands were cancelled so we had to try again this year.
For anyone who has never been there I think the effort of travelling is well rewarded.
