Re: IOS at Kew - Agave pendula
The cliff dwelling Agave pendula. I've never seen this before and here it's in flower. Not easy to get a good pic of this large floor-standing plant.

Re: IOS at Kew - Agave sp.
No ID (label missing) on this huge floor-standing Agave. I will email the guys at Kew at their suggestion, since they should be able to track it down in their database.

Re: IOS at Kew - Beschorneria yuccoides
An agave relative: Beschorneria yuccoides. Indeed the leaves are very Yucca-like, so a very appropriate name. I'd not seen this in flower before, and actually I was a tad too early since I don't think any flowers had yet opened.

Re: IOS at Kew - Bulbine ? latifolia
Okay guys, this is THE last succulent senocot, but this time an African. It was labelled Aloe and put to one side, so clearly soneone knew the name was wrong. I didn't raise this with anyone at the time.
This is clearly a Bulbine and I think it's B. latifolia - anyone else got a take on this ID please?

Re: IOS at Kew - Pelargonium crithmifolium
Here's the first of a few pelargoniums since we've had a couple of threads lately on this genus. Here's a group of P. crithmifolium doing various contortions!

Re: IOS at Kew - Pelargonium laxum
And here's Pelargonium laxum being very, well, laid back and lax.
This is the plant in the top hanging basket, BTW.

Re: IOS at Kew - Pelargonium paniculatum
A little while back I posted up a pic of my plant of Pelargonium paniculatum. Well, I think that ID is wrong, 'cos here is the true species. Note the remains of the leaf bases and the leaves are finely divided and succulent. It only had a single branch - infrequently branching is another characteristic feature of this sp.
To give a sense of scale, the largest of the two stems must be around 50 cm tall.
BTW, if I could have taken away just a single plant, this would have been it. I would give my eye teeth and more besides, for such a large, true ID plant of this sp.
Interestingly, in view of our recent thread on Tina's plant that I believe to be P. klinghardtense, I didn't see a specimen thus labelled at Kew.

Last Pelargonium: this time the caudiciform or tuberous P. triste. And boy are these tubers BIG.
