Mesemb Study Group Bulletin

Post by topsy »

The second MSG Bulletin of 2020 was taken to the Mailing House today and should be with all paid up members in the near future. It has 24 pages including a record eight A4 colour plates.

Lapsed members can rejoin at www.mesemb.org/subscriptions.html

Regrettably both the autumn Mesemb events in Banstead and Manchester have had to be cancelled, but the organisers of both events have got together and are planning an international Zoom meeting on the afternoon of Saturday 3rd October 2020.

The MSG has set up its own mailchimp mail list to keep members and others informed of mesemb related events.
You can join this at: http://www.mesemb.org/msgmailchimp.html. You don't have to be an MSG member to join this list.

Thank you for sharing!

In case you are involved (I guess so from posting this), the form did not work in my Firefox browser, had to revert to a backup Chrome to sign up.

Could be all the anti-ad, anti-pop-up, anti-tracking and anti-analytics add-ons I have (should I put my tin foil hat on?). Some banks don't want to cooperate with it as well!

The URL is not right. It links to "https://forum.bcss.org.uk/www.mesemb.or ... tions.html" instead of "http://www.mesemb.org/subscriptions.html".

I received bulletin 3 just this Saturday. Way to late for some of the announced events inside it, such as the announced Zoom meeting.

Just out of curiousity, even though the bulletin was dated on 19 September was it just my bulletin that was much later or was the entire batch of bulletins later than it should have been based on the content?

I received mine at the very beginning of October. Alain mentioned in a reply to my fb post that there were some issues with shipping No. 2 abroad, maybe same happened now.
