Hi Jennie and welcome to the Forum, I'm sure you will find plenty to interest you here and plenty of useful advice. How many plants do you have? you will soon acquire more now that you are hooked!

Hi. Juster. I only have a few widowsil cacti at the moment. I'm trying to figure out how to make more room. They only way is up, so I'm looking at ideas to add levels. I know this will eventually lead to cacti in other rooms too.. I'm particularly interested in Stapelias, but they are difficult to get hold of, so really anything that catches my eye.... I can see me "needing" a greenhouse at some point. Lol.
what cacti do you like and collect?

Hi jenniemay
Welcome to the forum
I'm sure your windowsill will need to expand and grow soon --- just as your plants will ... and your passion for them.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Hi Jennie, I like to grow quite a good variety of plants, but have a particular interest in Mammillaria, Gymnocalycium, Parodia, Rebutia/Sulcorebutia, Echeveria and similar genera and Sempervivums - the latter being grown outside as they are quite hardy. I try to limit myself to what I can accommodate in my two greenhouses and what I have time to look after. There has been a recent interesting post here by someone with shelving in his windows, but I'm sure you will soon need a greenhouse! Enjoy your plants.
