Hididdilyhoe!

Post by Licespray »

Heya guys and gals,

I’m Troy, live in south east Queensland. Temperatures range from a low of -5c warming to a high of 16ishC in winter and a high of 43c in summer. Don’t have a greenhouse, so all my plants stay outside in pots or the ground. Just planting and seeing what survives :) my cactus garden is only 1.5m in length at the moment but I intend on extending it another couple soon. When it’s done (aaaages away) it’ll be around 20m long and 0.9-1.5m wide depending where it’s at. I’m currently on the narrow section.

Unfortunately I was a sworn euphorbia hater...then I got my first one :???: now I love them but still don’t have any more. If I understand they’re a bit more cold sensitive so need to work on this.. oh but they have to be cactus-like...gah who am I kidding? Succulent euphorbia are just cool!
I also love asclepiads (if I spelt that correctly.). Currently have a Stapelia sp. (haven’t seen a flower yet) and what I believe is some Huernia. Have a pic of it but I’ll add that to a different thread.

Anyways..cheers!
Troy.

Welcome
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
