Waving from the East Midlands

Post by FredG »

My interest in Lithops was rekindled last year so I now have several Mesembs.

Here's part of the present (small) collection.

It's amazing how much fun you can have in a small place with these plants.

Most of the rest of the greenhouse space is taken up with this kind of thing.

Those are fun too

As a trip to my own Forum will show I've dabbled with many types of plants over the years and still do.

Let's have fun

Welcome to the forum.
I have a few Sarracenia .... but mine live in the garden!
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

The S. minor are usually very late to leaf up in the greenhouse. I hate to think how short their year would be outside.
With the mild winter we just had they managed to keep last years pitchers on so they got a flying start this spring.

I haven't been to any branch meetings yet and was still at primary school in the 80s! (Sorry!) Maybe see you at one after all this nonsense?
