Hello from Indio California

Post by cactusguy63 »

Hi All
I just recently moved from Los Angeles to Indio California. This is desert country. 110 degree heat during the day and 50 degree cold at night. I have been actively growing cactus for 25 years but really went crazy 2 years ago.
From 6 plants to over 200. Just looking to learn and share.

Welcome to the forum, Mike. The weather is a bit different here; 10 degrees C and foggy at the moment.

Growing a mixed collection of cacti & other succulents; mainly smaller species with a current emphasis on lithops & conophytum.

Welcome to the forum Mike.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Welcome to the Forum Mike, you certainly have different growing conditions there. Look forward to seeing some photos of some of your plants sometime :welc:
