Im Margie from Amersham, Bucks

My background is from a family of botanists and my interest ws piqued many years ago by my uncle Charles Scott of East London, South Africa, who was a Haworthia specialist. Ive a very small collection of many different types of cacti and succulents (limited space, unfortunately), and I get great pleasure looking after my prickly babies. I have given many away cuttings and offsets to unsuspecting family and friends.

Welcome to the Forum Margie and interesting to hear about your uncle, I assume the same person who wrote the Haworthia book? No wonder you became interested! Enjoy your plants.

Welcome to the forum Margie
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.
