Hello from Mid Wales

Post by chrisred »

Hi all,
I have been growing a small number of cacti / succulents for a number of years but had really concentrated on my Carnivorous plants to date. I still have a number of these but more recently I have gained more interest in the cacti and succulents, I now have a small collection of agaves and particularly like the Euphorbias of which I have purchased a few.
I have a unheated poly tunnel where I keep most of the hardy plants , others mainly Euphorbias are residing indoors for the winter.
I will be looking into growing cacti from seed and this is where I think I may need advice and information.

Today I paid for a BCSS membership so looking forward to receiving more information reading etc.

Will be looking for suggestions on what cacti are recommended to grow from seed for a beginner.

I look forward to catching up with you on the forum and FB page  :!:

Welcome Chris to the society and the forum
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Hi Chris. I joined this time of year last year and you will get the bonus of the seed list and December Cactusworld too I think!
