Thanks for the comments.

The Fireworks looked even better a couple of days ago but are starting to fade and sag a bit now. It has been flowering for over 2 weeks :shock:

Bottom left is Brachystelma maritae. It has a loverly caudex and is now smothered in flowers.

I will have to get a better lens for my camera to do it justice.

Joined Havering branch 2006, although have been growing on and off since the age of ten!
Have a large balanced collection of both cacti and succulents but enjoy growing cristate, monstrose and generally anything a bit weird!

doesn't matter Sue, you can use 3 plants of the same species or all different.
and there's no problem if more plants appear in the sides(as in Ian's entry) as long as only the 3 plants are meant to form the composition.

No but it's cold outside, I went out with scarf & coat on today to check my G/h, plants look very sad/naked with no leaves on :lol:
