Hi,

Thank you to everyone who posted pictures in this month's competition especially those of you who went to the trouble to post a number of entries. I was amazed at the response, and there were so many fine pictures it was a very difficult competition to judge.

So, rather than just announce a winner, I think I should mention a few of them. First a special mention to Vicent (vbueno) who managed to come up with 46 shades of white, if I have counted them correctly, with many beautiful plants and pictures. Also MikeT, for some excellent pictures, I particularly liked both the Crassula and Dudleya and to John Dos, who posted some fantastic pictures from the Jardin Canario Viera y Clavijo.

But the very best seemed to be the last as ChrisL came up with some beautiful pictures right at the end of the competition. It was difficult to choose between them, but in the end I decided the winner is ChrisL with Gymnocalycium horstii.

Thank you again to everyone who entered.
