April 2020 - something bicolour

Post by MikeT »

I don't think I'm much good at coming up with original ideas. However, how about photos of something in 2 different colours. It could be foliage, maybe variegated, it could be flowers - as long as there are two different colours to see. I'll hunt around for an example to add.

2 colour flower is fine, Russell. I tried to find a Thelocactus bicolor flower photo but discovered the only ones I have are spoiled by too much light reflection off the petals, giving the appearance of a white ring as well as the purple and red.

No limit. But less than 500 would make judging easier

Foliage is fine
Cr_falcata.JPG
Echeveria_pulvinata_'Ruby'2.JPG
or flowers
Bulbine_frutescens.JPG
Or bicoloured spines. Bicoloured anything cactus or succulent. Thelocactus bicolor ssp tricolor wouldn't work though.
