Of course not all have dates on the labels but in the course of my current massive Copiapoa repot (well over a third of a tonne of compost to date), I came across a clump of C. tenuissima that was bought at a Manchester c+s show in 1955. I hasten to say that it wasn't me that bought it then. But I was around at the time......

I have others that are probably older given that Copiapoas don't exactly race along. Looking at plants sowed in the 80's and 90's you could be forgiven for wondering why you did it!

I am now close to completing repotting a 40ft length of staging with Copiapoas (I know, don't say it), and it's good to see it refreshed, tidy and the plants looking OK.
