My Greenhouse Build

When I moved to my current house in 1978, there was an old greenhouse (1st pre 1950's). It was built on waist high brick walls with a 5ft high rear wall.
The timbers were in a poor state and rotting, with glass falling out. I demolished it and rebuilt using second hand commercial greenhouse timber and more glass.
This worked well but after 30yrs or so it started to fall apart.
Being a hoarder I collect some large glass panels (approx. 2.3m x 1m) for my workplace, these were secondary glazing from science labs and they were heading for the skip. I rescued enough to do a new design and rebuild for the second time.
Lockdown created a period of no straying from home (member of the vulnerable aged). My first project was a canoe rebuild.
From the original GH I had the ridge in remarkable condition, at 17ft it would have been difficult to replace. I also had the original door in good condition. The GH base is 16ft by 8ft
Then I decided to do the greenhouse! I did write it up for another forum that I use and here is the link to that article.

This is the current state, partial occupation, with a mix of plants. I hope you enjoy reading it and seeing what I did with my spare time, hoarded wood, stone flags and glass.
