It the first of a new month, so here is the first of (what I hope) many of my M. minuta/mandragora in flower today.

Mine has a label that I've never got to the bottom of: "AH ex Dog Dyke". I got as far as working out that Dogdyke is a village in Lincolnshire, rather than some exotic Argentinian location, but not who AH is/was. Does anybody know?

This one today has a much smaller flower plus many more buds.

I'm pleased mine is still alive, never mind flowering. At the end of last year it looked on its way out, but I'm pleased to say I have 3 new bits of stem appearing.

Hi Phil I have the same plant and also wondered about the ex DogDyke and AH. I hadn’t a clue about DogDyke but Could AH be Alan Hill? It does floater well.

A bit of googling has led me to some late NCSJs and early BCSJs where there are a few adverts like this:

I wonder if this somehow morphed into Neil Oakman's Leyland Cacti?
Yes, AH might be Alan, though I've never seen his initials coded as a sort of accession reference before. Or could it be a corruption of JH? Don't think I'll ever know!
