Leaf cuttings

Post by MrSlinkyDragon »

Can aloes be propagated from leaves? I know they will root from stems, pups and seed but could i grow one from a detached leaf? I ask because i broke a leaf off one of my cameronii and would hate to see it go to waste... if not oh well ^_^
If i like it, ill grow it. If it doesn't grow i try again

I could not vouch for ALL, Brian, but yes, ALL that I have tried over the years:
X Gasteraloe (Aloe variegata X Gasteria batesiana)
X Gasteraloe (A. bellatula X G. bicolor var. liliputana)
X Gasteraloe cv. El Supremo (different clone of 1st one above)
X Gasteraloe cv. Green Ice
X Gasteraloe pethamensis
