Aloe gariepensis watering

Is this species a winter rainfall species? I recently obtained one and couldnt find anything in regards to it.
If i like it, ill grow it. If it doesn't grow i try again

Thanks, ill give mine some water tomorrow then :) not too much however as ive had to use multipurpose and perlite for the time being
If i like it, ill grow it. If it doesn't grow i try again
