How do you polinate Haworthiopsis?

Post by jfabiao »

All and any help wanted!

I am a bit annoyed with this. I have been polinating Haworthia successfully for a number of years (cat's whisker technique, mostly) and I presumed that doing the same with Haworthiopsis would render some measure of success.

Not so. Not one capsule, nada. Whiskers, brushes, anther transfers, nothing seems to work. What am I missing?

Thank you!

The principle of pollination is to put the pollen on the stigma. You can poke the grass. Usually the first day the flower matures, the second day the stigma matures.
