Thanks. I'd picked up on the change of editorship but not that that meant it had ended.

I'm feeling a bit dyslexic. looking at the photograph, I see the words, but just don't seem to be able to read what they say!

It won't be long now. Tulista pumila is already up to 17,500 Google hits just two days after you wrote that Stuart.

Haworthia Pumila fights back, added on 13,000 hits overnight, now up to 93,600 and heading for victory. Is there a Dominion counting machine hiding here somewhere?

One more cultivar (?) from Kaktus Koehres to confirm: Haworthia pumila 'Candle Wax Drop' (aka 'Candle Way Drop' as it is spelled on KK). Did anyone hear about it, or is it maybe some sort of a locality information or something completely unrelated? Internet search did not help, hits returned are one or two seed stores, depending on the spelling.

"It's a fix!" to quote a well-known person in the news of late...

Stuart wrote: Tue Jan 12, 2021 5:27 pm Most of these Haworthia Pumila forms originated in Bob Kent's collection in California. I thought it was careful hand pollination of selected plants but he told me it was all down to humming birds. He gave up growing Haworthias a few years ago.

Stuart
I read that about giving up growing them and my first thought was the hummingbirds had taken over haha

(Seriously though I hope it was through his choice and not bad health or something)

How nice is it to just let hummingbirds do such a job!
