Some 1-2 month old Springbokvlakensis
Wasn't expecting such a good germination with these but looking forward to them getting older! Some are growing their third set of leaves.

For me, this is one of the slowest and trickiest species to grow. One of the best ones that I have ever seen is this one photographed at a show quite a long time ago:

I was never a huge Haworthia fan, but I have taken to them a little recently.
Here are the survivors of my sowing April 2019 of Haworthia springbokvlakensis (Haworthia Soc seed).
No doubt I am doing it all wrong for best cultivation, but they seem healthy at least.

Thanks. I am sure you will. Yours look as though they are off to a fine start.

I can agree they can be really slow. Mine put out a dodgy new leaf so that will be there for a while.

All my plants are kept indoors and I started collecting in August 2018. Favourites are Pachyphytum, Echeveria, Haworthia, Mesembs and oddball Cacti.

Let me give you a tip, which I got from Bill Hildyard. I found this species tricky to grow until he advised me that it likes limestone. I added some to the compost and as top dressing, and my plant is now doing really well.
