Could the front right be an Ipomoea.

Yes Colin know it's a Fockea but don't you remember the skinhead one at the National

He's published it. Within reason he's at liberty to do this, whatever you or I might think of it :) I'm not a fan of some of his mass cultivar naming but this seems one of his better choices, surely?
Hi Phil & Diane,
I agree about the mass naming of cultivars, but yes, 'Maelstrom' is a great name for this really whacky, highly unstable beast.

Hi Tina,
Depends what was allowed in this class. If it was for fockeas or asclepiads then nope!
Can anyone who was actually at the show help, please?
Cheers,
Colin

I think that is what the label says, Marlon, if you enlarge it up.

Euphorbia shown in the fourth picture up from the last-E. francoisii?
Could this be E. francoisii var crassicaulis as it's a very large form even the flowers are supersized.

The last photo, what is this plant? My first guess would be a Pseudolithos.
It's White-sloanea crassa, a stapeliad from Somalia that's rarely been seen and collected in the wild, and what a superb specimen it is. I've never grown this myself so I don't know how tricky it really is.
Thank you. I have put this plant on my list of plants I would like to come across, once. I am sure it can be best of friends with my Trichocaulon and Pseudolithos I already have, some day.
