Hi! I've just joined the Forum.
I'm from Bristol, UK.
I first grew cacti many many years ago as a teenager. Much to my mums concern and annoyance I used every windowsill on the sunny side of the house to place my collection. Sadly as I grew older I moved onto other plant families but my love of growing has always remained. Recently I happened to be shopping at a supermarket and noticed cacti plants for sale and they have rekindled my interest. I am now building a small collection once again.
At a recent talk about succulents, the speaker said;
"When you were young and didn't know anything, you just grew things (successfully). Then someone told you they were hard to grow and you began to worry about growing them."
How true that is. So I can see that I will be a frequent visitor to this site!
Thanks for reading
Mark
