Essex Succulent Review

Post by Sheila »

Hi,

Just to let you know that the September issue of the Essex Succulent Review is now available at https://www.essexsucculentreview.org.uk/

I have a wide variety of articles for you this time, including something from Len Newton (the ESR's founder over 50 years ago) on Succulent plant hunting in Britain. Other items include Grass Aloes, larger Eriosyce, Epiphyllum and Part 1 of Al Laius' adventures in Argentina, by bus.

I've also introduced a new feature, based on a BCSS Branch meeting, called Desert Island Plants. Which five plants would you take with you to a fairly comfortable desert island? This could be turned into a regular series, so if anyone would like to have a go at writing something then please get in touch.

Best wishes, and thank you for your interest in the Essex Succulent Review.
