Adenium help please

Post by AlysonJoy »

I have a nice adenium plant in flower. Its new to me. As its in flower, should I feed it? How much light will it need, as I'm thinking I might have to move it. What soil should it be in?

I'd treat it as a houseplant and grow it on a sunny window-sill. I've never done well with them in a greenhouse over the winter. If they lose their leaves over the winter they take ages to come back into growth. The ones in garden centres with a good-sized caudex are only about a year from seed grown in the Netherlands and well-fed. Give it cactus-like conditions but keep it growing through the winter in a warm, sunny position.
