LOVELY
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

I do love purple. It looks like it will be flowering for a while, too.

Fantastic! Did you give this plant any special treatment through the winter so far, Mike?

I do find sometimes plants develop buds right at the end of the season - Stapelia scitula did it this year for me, but I left it more or less dry hoping it might develop once the new growing year gets on the way.

Nothing whatsoever but this does seem to be a very floriferous clone.

I have an Huernia x pendurata and a sudanica that haven’t stopped flowering since last summer. A Stapelia variegata has several buds as well now. All at a minimum of 9C.

Your Stapelia is lovely, Mike.
First it was orchids, then, since c.2001, cacti and succulents. I'm into South African plants, mainly conos, lithops and haworthias, with a few cacti, especially 'posh' mamms, turbs and other smalls. Now it’s stapeliads as well...
