Stunning
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Re: Huernia boleana
I noticed the first flower on the 3rd April.
No really noticable scent.

Interesting. The description I read said that the scent of this species was that of a mouse that had been dead for some time

That seems to be an extra early flowering Acid John. Most of my stapeliads don't flower until the summer. Do you spoil them and keep them extra warm in the winter, and start watering earlier than most of us would dare?
