Hey guys,
So I made sure that this one was overwintered as dry as possible, no water, further away from humidity of the windowsill.
However over last couple of months I'm noticing blackish spots, I'm afraid of rot. One cladode is strong and firm, while the one that I am concerned about much softer and appears to have blackish tint to it. I'm just wondering if this is something I should be worried about and is a start of feared rot?
Any advise appreciated!

I would wait a little and see if the spots get larger.

Agree with Mike nothing to worry about at the moment, just keep your eye on it and you can always remove that segment later if it gets any worse.
