Portulacaria afra bonsai after 7 years
After a fairly quick search of the forum I found the post where I put one of my Portulacaria afra plants into a bonsai pot and gave it a bit of a trim https://www.forum.bcss.org.uk/viewtopic ... 3&p=229603 that was almost 7 years ago with the final result being this
I've not done the regular pruning that it should have had, just a few stems cut resulting this morning in this...
Not obvious from front view but the plant has been against a wall and didn't get turned so very one sided. It has now had a bit of a trim so will now wait and see what new growth emerges before trying to get a better shape, will have to think about removing new stems near base.
