Guess the Epi

Post by AndrewB »

Hi,

Can anyone identify this Epi?

I bought it on EBay.co.uk from a British supplier as E.’Fantasie’ which it clearly isn’t. Fantasie being an orange hybrid. I was hugely disapointed it wasn’t what I bought, as it started to open, but by the time it had fully opened I was delighted, what a flower!! It scented at night as well.

Looks like 'Fantasy' rather than 'Fantasie', which I have grown in the past.

Thanks Tony, it does look similar, although there are hints of yellow/orange in the centre and the edges look paler.

The subtle differences could be accounted for by differing light intensities and feeding regimes I suppose.

I think I shall label it as ‘possibly Fantasy’.
