Late late flower

Winter flowering plants are not at their best in my climate. This Argyroderma has finally opened a bud after thinking about it for many weeks. All started well:

Then my camera messed up the white balance a little:

Then it just lost the plot:

I've left the pictures untouched just for novelty value.
