Uh oh! :???: That's no good. Hard to avoid with those plastic ones, though. They tend to blow over in even fairly tame winds. :| At least your plants are okay, though.

Fastened to the ground is always good ;)

Although my greenhouse only has standard overlapped 3mm panes held in with a variety of clips, the frame is of a high standard, well-squared up, properly braced, and securely fastened down. Probably how I dodged the bullet in that storm.

How are the UK greenhouses currently coping with the Eunice storm?

The wind is starting to increase up here by now, but the worst is predicted between 18:00 and 00:00. Luckily my greenhouse is not nearby the northsea but far away at my mothers house. But still I am worried, not in the least because my own house is actually near the coast...

A large polycarbonate sheet popped out of mine but stayed in my garden. Thankfully, the wind being able to get under the others didn't result in them all escaping! It's calm enough now that I've just been out to slide it back in.

I lost just one pane of glass, already replaced. Came home early from a break in Wales, was in Snowdonia and the wind was fierce. Ralph how did your greenhouse hold up?
