Bradford Branch Cactus & Succulent Show Saturday 18th June

Post by TraceyM »

Bradford branch's cactus and succulent show takes place on Saturday 18th June this year at Woodbank Nurseries in Harden, Bingley.

64 classes plus a large sales table. We've added new classes this year to try and make sure as many people as possible can enter, including several display classes, a collection and an educational class.

All BCSS members are welcome to enter. Email BradfordCacti@gmail.com for a schedule or it's on our Facebook group to download.

Open for viewing and plant sales from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Judging starts 10.30am. Trophy presentation at 3pm.

Plants can be staged 9.30am to 10.15am on the day of the show, or 3.30pm to 5pm the day before.

This is just outside Bingley and 10 minutes away from Haworth, so it's a beautiful part of the city if you're looking to visit Bradford show as part of a day out. Saltaire, Cliffe Castle Museum, Cartwright Hall & Lister Park and the National Trust's East Riddlesden Hall are all 10 to 15 minutes away.

All BCSS members are welcome to enter. We've added and modified a lot of classes this year, including some new display classes, a collection and an educational class. I know many people are concerned that cactus and succulent shows are only about old rare plants, so we wanted to try and more sure our show celebrates the many different sides of the hobby.
