Re: Another Maihueniopsis
A good year for your Maihueniopsis! Mine have not started yet, and I was very late in watering them this spring.

Nice bunch of flowers there Mike
I am with Tony, watered mine late.
I like the way you say " Found this today " I know what you mean Mike, especially if they are up on a top shelf but it is a nice surprise.

Re: Another Maihueniopsis
I'm not a grower of Opuntia but that does make one sit up and comment.
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs. Recently discovered gorgeous Gasteria.

Also these are in the greenhouse on the allotment so I don’t see them every day.RAYWOODBRIDGE wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 9:34 pm Nice bunch of flowers there Mike

Thought I'd add this ovata caught in the evening light.

That’s a lovely rich colour and has the same label as one of mine…..sadly I don’t recall where it came from.
