August 2022 Your best photo!

As the title says. The best photo you've ever taken of a cactus or succulent in flower.

This is not a technically brilliant picture, it was taken on an iPad with the plant sitting on my kitchen table before I dashed off to work…. But the result was, I think, my best ever picture. Schick Fangri La in the early morning sun.

unnamed hybrid #1.jpg
Only been collecting C&S for about 4 years seriously but there you have it out of the 6000plus images taken in that time
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

I've been addicted for a bit longer, just looking at my archive disc and it has 37392 images in the lightroom catalogue. Unfortunately I did not do much in terms of key words or other flags to help me find the "best". This is one of the better ones from 2011
