"imperfect"...

Post by JonNo »

I guess if this was a vegetable in a supermarket it would be in the "imperfects" section - it isn't regular in shape, its lovely "wool" is permanently matted because I insist on spraying it with things... but I think it beautiful!

I've had this Copiapoa a few years now, and each year so far it has treated me to one single flower, plus this year it has started to develop an offshoot at the base. Imperfect it may be but I'm very fond of it.

a great looker .... regardless
Endeavouring to grow Aylostera, Echinocereus, Echinopsis, Gymnocalycium, Matucana, Rebutia, and Sulcorebutia. Fallen out of love with Lithops and aggravated by Aeoniums.
Currently being wooed by Haworthia, attempting hybridisation, and enticed by Mesembs.

Copiapoa humilis tends to be a bit untidy, but very willing.
